Aluminum Exhibition | Xinghengtai's Innovative Aluminum Panel Installation Technology Receives National Patent Certification

A major technological breakthrough has been achieved in China's aluminum processing sector.  Xinghengtai Co., Ltd.'s "Firmly Installed Aluminum Panel" technology was recently granted a utility model patent by the National Intellectual Property Administration (Patent No. CN222716382U). This innovation is expected to significantly enhance the installation efficiency and maintenance convenience of aluminum panels for architectural decoration. The upcoming Aluminum Exhibition will bring you the latest industry updates.

The core of this patented technology lies in its unique dual-directional locking system. According to the patent documentation, the aluminum panel adopts a modular design, enabling quick assembly and disassembly through a threaded transmission mechanism. The innovation is reflected in three key aspects: Firstly, a bevel gear linkage system allows synchronous operation of both side locking mechanisms by rotating a single handle, ensuring even force distribution. Secondly, a specially designed sliding seat-slot structure ensures precise alignment between adjacent panels. Thirdly, an innovative vertical screw mechanism provides secondary reinforcement.

The installation process involves just three simple steps: Firstly, rotating the top handle drives the bevel gear set to synchronously rotate the threaded rods on both sides, causing the sliding seat to insert mounting columns into the slots of adjacent panels. Secondly, tightening the bottom rotary disc activates the central screw for vertical fixation. Finally, overall leveling adjustment is performed. The entire process requires no specialized tools and can be completed by a single operator, improving efficiency by over 50% compared to traditional installation methods.

"The breakthrough of this technology lies in its perfect balance between installation stability and disassembly convenience—traditionally conflicting demands," commented Professor Wang Jianjun, a building curtain wall expert. "Conventional aluminum panels either use welded fixation (making disassembly difficult) or rely on simple snap connections (compromising stability). Xinghengtai's patented technology employs mechanical interlocking principles to ensure wind pressure resistance while enabling modular replacement."

Market data shows that with the growing adoption of green building concepts, China's architectural aluminum panel market exceeded 80 billion yuan in 2024, maintaining an annual growth rate of about 15%. However, the industry has long faced challenges of low installation efficiency and high maintenance costs, particularly for high-rise building facades where scaffoldings are often required for repairs.

Li Wei, Xinghengtai's Technical Director, stated: "Our patented product is especially suitable for large commercial complexes, airport terminals, and other venues requiring regular maintenance. When a single panel is damaged, maintenance personnel can quickly replace it using suspended platforms, dramatically reducing upkeep costs." The technology has already been piloted in a major project at Beijing's sub-administrative center, receiving positive feedback from contractors.

Industry analysts note that this patent marks the entry of China's aluminum panel installation technology into a new era of intelligent and modular solutions. With the promotion of prefabricated buildings, the market penetration rate of such quick-install aluminum panels is expected to exceed 30% within three years. Xinghengtai stated it will continue to advance R&D, driving aluminum building materials toward greater efficiency and sustainability.
