Aluminium Exhibition | Longkou City Leads Innovation to Promote Green and High-Quality Development of the High-End Aluminium Material Industry
Recently, at Conglin Fuluhafu Automobile Co., Ltd., a large truck bearing the "J&T Express" logo has completed its final inspection and stands out prominently in the company's courtyard. Inside the production workshop, there is a bustling scene with arc lights flashing, sparks flying, and machines roaring.
According to the aluminium exhibition, Conglin Fuluhafu Automobile Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Conglin Aluminium Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd., specializing in the production of Aluminium lightweight semi-trailers. The company has successfully developed Aluminium alloy skeleton vehicles, integrated box trucks, refrigerated trucks, and wing-spreading vehicles, achieving a breakthrough in the industrialization of lightweight vehicles in China. "Using Aluminium instead of steel can also increase the vehicle's lifespan by 50% and achieve a recycling rate of over 90%," a company representative explained.
The rapid development of Conglin Aluminium is a microcosm of the high-end transportation Aluminium material industry cluster development in Longkou City. Nowadays, in Longkou, whether it's large products like airplane wing profiles or "high-speed train" car body profiles, or small products like Aluminium foil thinner than a hair's diameter, almost any Aluminium product imaginable can be found. Longkou City has formed an Aluminium industry development cluster led by Nanshan Aluminium and Conglin Aluminium, followed by 58 specialized and innovative enterprises like Origen, Sanyuan Aluminium, and Boruite, along with 156 large, medium, and small enterprises.
To stimulate innovation within the cluster, Longkou City has vigorously strengthened the construction of innovation platforms, deepened the cooperation between industry, academia, research, and government, and enhanced core technology research and innovation. It has established strategic partnerships with renowned domestic and international research institutions and companies, successively developing technologies like the "100MN hydraulic double-action Aluminium extrusion production technology and equipment development," which won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the "short-process Aluminium alloying and plastic forming processing key technology" included in the National Science and Technology Support Plan. At the same time, the city is accelerating the digital upgrade and green low-carbon transformation of the cluster, improving cluster governance and service capabilities, and promoting the healthy development of the cluster.
