Global smartphone users have been growing, from 3.73 billion in 2020 to 4.74 billion in 2022. This growth is likely to result in the popularity of affordable smartphones and improved internet connectivity globally. However, there is a slight decline in 2023, with the number falling to 4.64 billion. This could be due to market flooding in certain regions or economic factors affecting consumer purchasing power, suggesting the need for ongoing market analysis.
Throughout the year, Realme continued to innovate the market with the launch of several new smartphones. From the Realme 12 Series Pro to the Realme NARZO Series and Realme P Series, the brand has been relentless in its innovation. The Realme NARZO N63 further enhances the user experience with a Walk Mode, AI Silent Calling, Mini Capsule 2.0 for quick notifications, Over-the-Air Calling, Dynamic Buttons, and the UltraBoom speakers.
According to AL Circle's Global Aluminium Outlook 2024 report, the smartphone market is expected to rebound in 2024, returning to its peak of 4.74 billion users in 2022. The forecast for 2023 to 2024 is around 2.15%. The expected growth can be attributed to several factors such as the launch of innovative features, technological advancements, or growth in economic growth.
